(﹡֦Ơ∀Ơ֦)ﾉ

A small hook juts up from the top right corner of each eye. Both eyes are Ơ, LATIN CAPITAL LETTER O WITH HORN, a letter of the Vietnamese alphabet, and that hook is the horn in its name. Since each eye carries it on the same side, it points toward the mouth on the left eye and out toward the closing parenthesis on the right one, so the eyes are not mirror images. Being capitals, the two O's are about as tall as the mouth between them; other faces on this site that use the letter for eyes, such as (ơ_ơ), use the lowercase ơ. The mouth is ∀, FOR ALL, the logic symbol for "for every": an A turned upside down, wide at the top and pointed at the bottom, with a crossbar. The whole shape reads as a wide-open mouth, the same one as in (ﾟ∀ﾟ). Outside the closing parenthesis, ﾉ, the half-width katakana no, looks like a hand raised beside the face. Between the opening parenthesis and the left eye sits ﹡, SMALL ASTERISK, and there is no asterisk on the right side to match it. Right after that ﹡, and right after the right-hand Ơ, comes ֦, HEBREW ACCENT MERKHA KEFULA, one of the cantillation marks that tell a reader of the Hebrew Bible how a word is chanted. It is a combining mark, drawn beneath the character before it, so the asterisk and the right eye each get one underneath and the left eye gets none. In fonts that include it, it shows up as two short strokes whose lower ends hook to the left, like two small J's side by side, sitting lower than the eyes and the mouth, near the bottom of the line. Its left-right position depends on the font: sometimes it is directly under its character, sometimes it drifts under the next one, and the mark attached to the right eye can land under the closing parenthesis. On X the face turned up in a morning greeting, オハヨ━━(﹡֦Ơ∀Ơ֦)ﾉ━━ウ: ohayou, good morning, split between its last two kana, with the face in the gap and the heavy box-drawing lines ━━ on both sides stretching the word out, the way ｷﾀ━━━(ﾟ∀ﾟ)━━━!!, also on this site, stretches kita, "it's here."
