(´,,•﹃•,,｀)ｼﾞｭﾙ♡

Two little commas sit on each cheek, ,, on the left and ,, on the right, four strokes in all that read as a pink flush or as cheeks puffed up with anticipation. Just inside the brackets, ´ climbs toward the right and ｀ climbs toward the left, so both brows lift at the center of the face while the tiny • eyes stay fixed on something. The frame is almost the same as the familiar bashful face with an ω cat mouth; only the mouth has been swapped, from ω to ﹃. That central ﹃ and the half-width katakana ｼﾞｭﾙ (juru) just outside the bracket work as a pair across the boundary, one giving the shape of the mouth and the other the slurping sound, while the final ♡ points all that longing at food. It is a face with a crush, and the crush is food.
