The outer brackets sit at two different heights. `₍₍` drops below the line; `⁾⁾` rides above it. They are the same small parentheses, doubled, with one pair sunk and the other lifted, so the whole face reads as being shaken on a diagonal. The arms, `◝` and `◟`, are quarter-circle arcs — upper right and lower left, a pair that never faces itself. The arms therefore swing out of parallel, twisted against each other. The eyes are halfwidth middle dots `･`, with `´` and `` ` `` resting on them as brows. The mouth `ᴗ` is the bottom half of a lowercase o, so it is not an open mouth at all but the raised corners themselves.
